CBJ Promotional Truck

Description

In 2015 the Columbus Blue Jackets contacted MAG to develop and build a promotional vehicle that would be co-branded and customized where fans could gather at stops across the state of Ohio. After a few creative meetings with the team, it was determined that the best choice to meet their needs would be a 50’ custom built co-branded, turnkey straight truck that could be utilized both indoors and outdoors.

The build-out process began with ordering a custom four door chassis. The chassis was ordered with an extended frame length to accommodate the 26’ cargo box with lift-gate where the majority of the customization would take place.

The cargo box on the driver’s side has a custom-built entertainment nook with a roll-up door and color changing LED light strips. The entertainment nook houses three 55’” LED TV’s, each with authentic CBJ hockey stick dividers, with their own PS4 gaming consoles with retractable controllers. A custom entertainment system, with mixing board, as well as an integrated satellite so that the games could be broadcasted on site. The truck is equipped with a 26’ awning that comes off the side of the vehicle and covers the space that was appointed with a custom logo flooring, custom embroidered couches, high-top tables and chairs, and replica CBJ locker stalls. Additional attractions included an custom built skee-puck game.
